True to Nature

Previous to the Woolsey Fire, our facility was and will continue to always look to improve its site by incorporating the latest green innovations.

Here are just a few of the ways we have kept camp eco-friendly:

  • Solar Power & Water Heating
  • Recycled Plastic Bunk Bends
  • Paper Use Reduction
  • Eco-Friendly Cleaning Products
  • Environmental Education
  • Tree Planting
  • Organic Gardening & Farming
  • Compact Fluorescent Lighting
  • Waterless Urinals
  • Composting & Recycling Programs

Currently, at our Gold Creek Campus, we have as much of a high standard for green-thinking as we can be. One of the many ways we have instigated this is the protocol for carrying one’s own reusable water bottle.

Stay tuned for more updates on what’s being done at the upcoming facility!
