You can make a difference for another Camp JCA Shalom family while securing your camper’s spot for Summer 2026. When you choose the Help a Family Rate, you help ensure that children who might not otherwise have the opportunity can experience the magic of Camp JCA Shalom alongside your child. By selecting this rate, you’re not just enrolling your camper—you’re helping to build a more inclusive camp community where financial circumstances don’t determine who gets to participate in the transformative experience of overnight camp.
New Camp Grants and Discounts
Mini Camp: For new campers, we offer a promotional rate of $800 for a Mini Camp session. Use the promo code MINICAMP for Mini Camp Alef or MINI800 for Mini Camp Bet or Gimmel to receive the $800 rate (no other discounts apply).
One Happy Camper Grants
- Campers attending a 2-week session for the first time are eligible to receive $700
- Campers attending a 3-week session are eligible to receive $1000
- Campers who have previously attended a Mini Camp session ARE eligible for One Happy Camper grants
- One Happy Camper Grants can be combined with need-based scholarships

Cancellation Policy
Cancel by March 31 – receive a full refund
Cancel between April 1-May 31 – receive a refund minus $250 cancellation fee ($100 for Mini Camp). This fee can be applied towards tuition the following summer. If not used for that purpose the money is forfeited.
Cancel June 1 or later – no refund, but may keep payments as credit towards next summer. If not used for that purpose the money is forfeited
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing.
If we have to cancel or shorten a program before the first day of the session due to health and safety reasons, or fire/natural disaster, we will offer a complete refund.
If we have to cancel or shorten a program due to health and safety reasons or fire/natural disaster once it has begun, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to provide a refund or credit. We will do our best to provide a partial refund or credit if possible. By the time a session has started, most of the expenses to run that session have already been incurred.
